finished a diary, started another
I've finished my diary and started another. Buying these pretty little notebooks is one of the highlights of diary writing for me.
Old on the left, new on the right
The clocks have gone back here and it's autumn, it's dark outside all the time. I cycle under pretty autumn trees and around drift of leaves to get to work (and worry about skidding on them when it rains).

I've missed blogging and had a lot of things I wanted to write to you about, but I haven't had the time or the inclination. Diary writing is much easier - I just get the thoughts on the page with no need to explain for any audience except myself.
I've been using diary stickers recently as well, which has been fun - I bought a set of journal stickers from CA Strike at a zine fair I went to in October.
I also bought this little cat from them too!
I've been climbing in Portland (Dorset, not Oregon) and been to a gig (it's been a long time, I love dancing).
An easy-ish slab climb which looks very dramatic by the sea

I've read a lot of books, particularly Gothic ones, and seen a lot of films - including Frankenstein and Bugonia which I have a lot of thoughts about. I can't draft them into a post. The longer I leave it the more ideas I have to bring together and it all gets too chaotic.
I hope I get my posting motivation and inspiration back soon. I still read a lot of blog posts and love to see what people write about. Hopefully I'll be back soon ~
