little things to do
📔 I'm doing Blaugust this year. This is 5/hopefully 31 posts in August, and a post I started writing on the 19th of July.
A page I've added to my blog this year but not linked anywhere (my 'page' page needs a spring cleaning) is little things for 2026.
I've been adding to it slowly, while trying to keep it little i.e. a task that can be done in an afternoon (or several seasonal tasks that could each be done in an afternoon). One of these is to make a zine, which I've wanted to do for ages but keep getting blocked on... here are some ideas, for personal reference. I should add to this. Or I should actually make one before adding more to this.
9 pages on my favourite female antagonists/characters from the films I watched this year
9 pages on the best films from female directors I watched this year (or any films, and rate them)
Book reviews from my book club - or record quotes from book club meetings and put them in a zine.
Poetry (but i'd have to write poetry) or alternatively, curate some poems I've liked.
One small drawing on a theme for each page (I was thinking witches - I'd use a random drawing prompt generator for what to draw each day).
Sketches of pubs / areas I've sat down in for awhile
