Ill health and antibiotics
Turns out the infected wisdom tooth I mentioned previously is actually just an infected mouth abscess. This is also painful, but it does mean I don't have to have mouth surgery which I'm relieved about.
The dentist said it's called "quinsy" which sounds medieval.
I didn't realise how bad the antibiotics would make me feel. I can't remember the last time I took them, and I think they would have been milder. I feel queasy and there's a metallic taste in my mouth all the time.
I'm ill but not ill enough to stay in bed, so I've been feeling very listless and frustrated. Also anxious, which can be a symptom of taking antibiotics but could just be me I guess.
While I was sick I was playing a lot of Taiyaki Fabulous Museum of Fish which is really great, a fun GBA aesthetic and atmosphere with tons and tons of monogram puzzles. Check it out if you like puzzle games!
This might be the end of my blaugust attempt... But there's always next year.
