i've been away for awhile
I went on a weekend away to the isle of wight and then I was ill for a whole week.
I had a fever, which led to several days of migraine headache and throwing up as I'd run out of my tablets, and now I've developed a cough I'm worried is turning into a full-blown cold.
It's stormy here in south-west UK - we all got a red weather warning for wind on our phones last night which is very unusual, and the wind woke me up around 3am. It's kind of nice to be tucked away in my flat while the wind rages outside. I'm finding it hard to deal with the fact I can't do things because I'm sick though - I've had to skip several events and I was off work for a whole week.
When I've well enough, I've been doing some work on re-designing my website, playing Stardew Valley (as the update is finally out on switch) and continuing my watercolour classes. Christmas feels like it's pretty soon, so I've been trying to get present shopping done too.
The bad weather has really been getting me down - usually I don't mind so much, but when I don't feel physically 100% it makes it so much harder to leave the house, and then I can feel myself atrophying socially. I hope I stop being sick soon.
