This page is for documenting all the email newsletters I'm currently subscribed to - my favourites are marked with stars :)
Not a newsletter, a web ring, but one of my favourites for inspiration.
⭐ One of the reasons I found it hard to get off twitter and bluesky is because I actually get quite a lot of news from there - big news (presidential election), pop culture news, and small bits of news that fall between the two (Kamala is brat, Kelis dating Bill Murray, new meme formats). Garbage Day fills that gap in an email newsletter.
⭐ I just think it's neat. Plus I love city content. This would probably be my ideal job (walking round the city, interviewing people about random shit).
I love notebooks and journaling - I often don't read these through, I'm sorry to say, but I love being introduced to different famous people's journaling styles and I always love a journal picture.
As well as news on the latest minecraft youtuber scandal, local news is important too. The Bristol Round-Up is useful for a quick precis on what's going on.
One of the first I subscribed to, I read it a little less now but still usually find something in the links round-up that's interesting, and Anne's writing is always good. I also love the images she picks out for the top of each newsletter.
I find this a little twee but I mainly subscribe because it's UK based and I like getting a basic bitch round-up of what's happening. However, they do a lot of giveaways and subscriber drives I'm slowly getting sick of.
⭐ Short, sweet and has a success rate of at least half the links I'm interested in. Again, another UK-based newsletter which is a plus. Very good at highlighting truly interesting youtube videos.
Absolutely love the aesthetic of this little shop with a really fun newsletter.
Another link blog - I just like being recommended curated things.
Another link(ish) blog - this one uses AI art :/ but I really enjoy Rishi's mini articles on lots of different ideas. A recent post I enjoyed was this on where he tried out the 12 hour walk
