Supplementing
I take magnesium (for migraines, probably not at a high enough dose), vitamin B12 (because my friend told me it helped with her period symptoms) and zinc (for my immune system).
I should be taking vitamin D (but I'm sure I have some in the house I can't find, and it seems wasteful to buy a new jar).
On holiday with some friends last week, turned out three of them were taking creatine - a workout supplement, but it may also help with brain function - especially in vegetarian women and the sleep deprived.
I started researching this (because I am a sleep deprived (largely) vegetarian woman with brain fog) and came across this comment on reddit...
Same girl, same. Honestly, the idea that there's something out there that would fix the tiredness and fatigue and various troubling brain lapses I make every day is so tempting... but I'm so cynical! Nothing works and everyone is trying to sell you something.
