you don't need planning permission
(I've been using delphi tools to mess around with some mediocre film pictures I took in August (except the ones of my friend's kids which are beautiful and I won't be sharing on the internet, obviously!))
A little tasks update...
I've watched "A Tale of Autumn" in Autumn and have now seen all of Rohmer's 4 seasons quadrology. This was described as his take on an American style rom-com, which I think tracks - there are a lot of funny/mad match-making schemes at play, which, as in most Rohmer films, work out more humanely and realistically than they would in other films. My favourite scheme is Isabelle practically entering into an affair in order to vet a potential suitor for her friend.
I have one day left (today!) to try Farro Bakery's September soft serve flavour. I'm going to try and do this over lunch, battling heroically against many factors: a tooth filling I had done several weeks ago that is still extremely sensitive to cold, all the actual work I have to get done, a mild cold I have gone down with. It's difficult to taste ice cream sometimes.
Update: I failed to try the soft serve - they'd already stopped serving it. I'll have to wait until next summer. I had to settle for a toffee apple danish, a more seasonally appropriate food (although it's still 21°C somehow??)
- I've started planning my Spooktober this year - a goal of watching 31 horror films in October. I'll be kicking it off by hosting a Chopping Mall / Death Spa double bill at my flat this weekend.
